ANYA WHITE was born in Sverdlovsk, Russia in 1986. From a young age she has been exploring various art mediums working in fashion and being drawn to fine arts.
Anya received her M.A. in Journalism from Ural State University. She has then studied photography in the School of the International Center of Photography in New York. In 2016 she achieved the Course Certificate for Seeing Through Photographs from New York Museum of Modern Art.
White co-produced Woody/before/Allen together with Masha Vasyukova. She has also worked as assistant director on that project. The film has been screened at 24 film festivals around the world and in movie theaters in New York and Los Angeles.
Currently Anya White is in-house photographer of Oxygen Eventworks, The Cityfox Experience, Rums Of Puerto Rico, Lightning Society, Techno Breakfast, Members Only Brooklyn, Sam’n'Joe. She freelances for All Day I Dream, Zero New York, Wobble, Chaos Cooking, Cutlog, White Wall Magazine, BangOn NewYork.
List of clients includes Adidas, Refinery 29, William Rust, Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, SeriousFun Children’s Network Foundation.
Anya volunteers for non for profit organization Parties 4 Peace.
White has been Night Life Editor and Photographer at HauteHipsters.com, features writer at Banzay magazine, ItsMyCity.com, Ekabu.Ru and producer at Cheesy Cuts Productions. Anya has been a columnist for Banzay Magazine since a year of 2011.
Anya's photographs were a part of group shows in the Educational Gallery in the School of the International Center of Photography and ALIGN NYC Exhibition. Her work was featured in Time out New York, AM New York, No Fear Of Missing Out, MixMag, Thump VICE, PulseRadio magazines.
